  • 5th Grade Beach Party

Our Hood 5th Grade Committee has worked with the Batch and Little Schools to organize a town-wide 5th grade Beach Party! All 5th Grade students are invited to get to know their future Middle School classmates on Friday, June 3rd, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the IRP Gazebo. Snacks, prizes, a photo booth, DJ…it’s all there! The mosquito population also might want to attend this awesome party - so parents who use bug spray are encouraged to apply it to kids before the event (there will not be bug spray there). Rain Date: Sunday, June 5th, 6:30 - 8:30.

  • 5th Grade Scavenger Hunt

The 5th Grade Committee has worked with our other elementary schools to pull together the second annual all-town Scavenger Hunt, on Sunday, June 12th, from 9-5! Follow to clues to the end and claim your prize!

  • $500 Scholarship Offered by Hood PA

This year, the PA voted to award a $500 scholarship to a deserving NRHS senior who was a former Hood student. Applications have been received and we will review and announce the winner by Friday, May 27, 2022.

  • Parent Night Out!

It’s such a shame that the Hood School parents don’t know how to have any fun…ha! Everyone had a great time with old and new friends, live music, and great food at the Horseshoe Grille.

  • Teacher Appreciation Week

We love our teachers, and did our best to show it! From a Chips and Dip Cinco de Mayo-themed snack bar to a bagel sandwiches, to plants for all of our teachers that help us grow - we hope they know how grateful we are for all that they do for our kids.
