The Hood School Parent Association welcomes anyone who would like to participate. There are no requirements beyond an interest to be involved.
For those who are able to do a little more, PA committee members and board members have a few extra responsibilities for programs, event planning, and general administration of the group. We’re ready to plan for the next school year! All roles are commitments for 1 year, and all roles are open for elections each year. To see details about elections and roles, Click Here.

Please note that this form is simply an expression of interest and you will not be bound to any role. PA Roles
President / Co-President
Do you like to inspire and lead? Is organization and motivation your jam? Then this role might be right for you! Our PA President oversees each of the PA areas, ensures we have clear communication with each other and the Hood School, meets with Dr. McKay and teacher liasons, and hosts our monthly meetings.
Secretary
Our Secretary keeps tracking of meeting notes, actions, owners, and deliverables, and generally ensures that we keep the shenanigans down to a dull roar.
Enrichment Chair
Interested in enhancing our children’s school experience with outside educational programs? The Enrichment Chairperson works with our teachers to bring their ideas to life in the classroom.
Communications
If you’re into Insta, this might be the job for you! Our Communications team ensures via social, email, and our website that our community know about upcoming events, meetings, and results. Hashtag YEAH!
Treasurer
All about the numbers? Our Treasurer manages our budget, helps file taxes, provides insight on our spending and funds, and helps us understand where our money is best spent.
Social and Hospitality
Our Social chairs bring the fun! From Teacher Appreciation Week, to Kindergarten Popsicle Social, to our annual Boo Bash, these chairpersons rally around our school community to help us make fun memories together.
Fundraising Chair
The PA fundraisers are what give us the ability to enrich our classrooms, enhance our children’s experiences at school, and create special memories for our children. Our chairperson maps out our fundraisers that bring these programs to life!
